Purpose of Vocational School of Justice Programs

Justice Program

The purpose of the Justice Program is to train qualified intermediate manpower in the judiciary and execution institutions of the Ministry of Justice.

Penal Execution and Security Services Program

The purpose of the Penal Execution and Security Services Program is to train professional staff working in penitentiary institutions, juvenile education houses and probation directorates.

Major Courses Taught in the Program

Justice Program

In the Justice Program, students are given theoretical and practical information, taking into account the qualifications required by justice services. In college,

Basic Concepts of Law, Constitutional Law, Civil Law, Administrative Law, Criminal Law, Commercial Law, Child Rights Law, as well as keyboard, Office Management and Secretarial, Communication and Protocol, Banking and Insurance Law, Personal Rights and Psychological Harassment, Theoretical and applied courses such as General Accounting and Introduction to Economics are taught.

Penal Execution and Security Services Program

In the Penal Execution and Security Services Program, theoretical and practical information is given in accordance with the requirements of training qualified personnel needed by Penitentiary Institutions and Detention Houses. In addition to the Public Law courses, courses such as Human Rights in Penitentiary Institutions, Penitentiary Institution Management, Prison Security, Psychosocial Approaches in Penitentiary Institutions, Probation, Crisis and Crisis Management are given to ensure that students are adequately equipped during their profession. In addition, there is a compulsory internship application in the spring semester for second year students in the program. Students complete their 30-day compulsory internship training within the Ministry of Justice Prisons and Detention Houses, and gain knowledge in the field of practice as well as theoretical knowledge.

Titles and Employment Areas of Graduates

Justice Program

The graduates of our School's Justice Program are given the title of "Justice Professional Staff". Professional staff of justice, editorial office or assistant of the courts; They are appointed as executive officers or assistants. In addition, they are employed in public or private banks, various public and economic institutions, and private economic enterprises.

Penal Execution and Security Services Program

Graduates of the Penal Execution and Security Services Program of our School receive the title of "professional staff" with an associate degree in the field of execution and security services and are employed in penitentiary institutions and probation directorates.
